A few quick life updates…

Let’s chat about the past 2 months, because its been a bit of a whirlwind. In early April, I defended my dissertation, which was both the exhausting, nauseating, amazing and likely the most satisfying experiences of my life. The week after, I flew to San Jose to collect data on the newly released Stellar (Q-LIT) MS platform at Thermo Scientific’s R&D center. When I came back two weeks later, I had a trove of data to analyze, and entirely too many peptides to manually integrate. The week after getting back, the first weekend in May, I stood beside my best friend in her wedding, and received my hood at commencement. After that, everything was a nice, little sprint to finish analyzing data, making figures, and writing a paper! Amidst all of that, I started my postdoc, my partner got a job, etc…basically life is moving quickly. That being said, its been an amazing first half of 2024, and I’m excited to see what the rest of the year holds.
